Florist is committed to respecting the individual privacy of its customers
and associates through the protection of their Personal Information.
As
the collection of information becomes more and more vital to our Company
and is facilitated through technological advances, we must reestablish
our commitment to protecting Personal Information. To safeguard customer
and associate privacy, we have developed this policy which governs the
behavior of associates with respect to the accuracy, confidentiality
and security of all Personal Information.
It
is Regina Florist policy to establish an appropriate training program
for associates with respect to this policy, to implement an effective
ongoing program to monitor Regina Florist compliance with this policy
and to set out procedures for the retention and destruction of Personal
Information.
By
complying with the following Privacy Principles, we will achieve our
pledge of protecting individual privacy.

Accountability
All Regina Florist associates, at all levels of the Company are responsible
for protecting all Personal Information under their control and in accordance
with the following principles. Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring
that their departments are in compliance with Regina Florist Privacy
Policy. Regina Florist is required to designate an individual within
the Company who will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s
compliance with this policy and the relevant legislation.

Identifying Purposes
The purposes for which Personal Information is collected must be identified
and documented at or before the time the information is collected.
3.
Consent
The knowledge and consent of the individual are required for the collection,
use or disclosure of Personal Information.
4.
Limiting Collection
The collection of Personal Information must be limited to only that
which is necessary for the purposes identified.
5.
Limiting Use, Disclosure And Retention
Personal Information must not be used or disclosed for purposes other
than those for which it was collected, unless required by law, and must
be retained for only as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of
those purposes.
6.
Accuracy
Personal Information must be as accurate, complete and up-to-date as
is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.
7.
Safeguards
Personal Information must be protected by security safeguards appropriate
to the sensitivity of the information.
8.
Openness
Regina Florist must make specific information about its policies and
practices relating to the management of Personal Information readily
available to individuals.
9.
Individual Access
Upon request, an individual must be informed of the existence, use and
disclosure of his or her Personal Information and given access to that
information. An individual must be able to challenge the accuracy and
the completeness of the information and to have it amended as appropriate.
10.
Challenging Compliance
An individual must be permitted to address a challenge concerning compliance
with the above principles to the Company.
